The Role:
As the Technical Review and Internal Trainer, you will be the driving force behind the quality of our asbestos survey reports and the development of our surveyors. Your mission is twofold: to ensure every report meets our high standards and to mentor and train our team to maintain and exceed these standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Review Process (70%):
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of asbestos survey reports for commercial and industrial properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Make necessary amendments to reports before release, assisting the technical admin team in meeting deadlines.
- Maintain a detailed log of issues for trend analysis, driving continuous improvement in report quality.
- Identify trends in survey/report quality and target areas for improvement through mentoring and training.
- Mentor and Train (30%):
- Deliver targeted mentoring and training for asbestos surveyors based on identified needs.
- Assist line managers in developing and delivering toolbox talks and refresher training sessions.
- Support and mentor other technical reviewers to uphold consistent standards across the board.
- Audit and Improve (As Needed):
- Conduct on-site audits of surveying activities to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Perform office-based vertical audits of asbestos survey jobs, ensuring thoroughness and consistency.
