The Contract Sales Consultant will work alongside the Contracts Manager to support AEC’s high level commercial opportunities and be responsible for managing and developing these contracts.
The successful candidate will ideally work within the asbestos industry, however alternative sectors, including construction, facility management or building

Responsibilities
- To develop the existing clients in the service area of asbestos consultancy
- Drive increased project management, air monitoring consultancy and develop long term relationships with asbestos removal contractors
- To bring in new business for asbestos within a specific market sector
- To chase repeat business and achieve further works
- Attend client sites in order to provide detailed, accurate quotes and specifications of work
- Build strong relationships with clients to fully understand their needs
- Attend site visits with the Surveyors, Analysts and Project Managers to gain an understanding of the technical work to be quoted
- Work with AEC’s marketing department on new campaigns in order to increase business
- Effectively use AEC’s CRM system to manage pipeline and customer engagement
Skill Set
- Proven sales experience and results
- Proven experience bringing in new business, focusing on asbestos services
- Ability to make decisions
- Proactive and driven approach
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Smart personal presentation and friendly manner
- Sound administration and IT skills – MS Office, including Excel
- Experience using CRM systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility to travel to client sites across the UK
