Due to the roll out of our new on-demand air monitoring service in the Southeast we are on the lookout for a competent Inbound Sales and Resource Planner that can handle the inbound sales enquiries and the resourcing and scheduling of weekly air monitoring jobs.
Job Role
You will be responsible for three key areas: Inbound Sales, Admin Support, and assisting in Resourcing & Scheduling. Working closely with the Business Manager to help drive strategic growth, this role will involve building and maintaining new and existing relationships with licensed asbestos removal contractors clients (LARCs).
You will be required to work on your own initiative to secure weekly orders from LARC customers to maintain a regular volume of work for our analysts. This is a fast paced dynamic role that includes assisting in the planning and scheduling of the jobs. This role would suit a well organised, energetic ‘people’ person, that can thrive in a target driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Sales:
- Contact new and existing LARC clients on a weekly basis to secure air testing appointments via telephone calls and emails
- Account manage your clients and make customer visits to build and maintain relationships
- Reach out to new prospects on social media (LinkedIn, X) to build relationships
Admin Support:
- Monitor the utilisation of analysts workload in order to capacity plan
- Complete customer and sales order information on our internal database system, Alpha Tracker
- Analyse and provide sales & customer information for this service for the Business Manager
Resourcing & Scheduling:
- Collaborate with the Resource Planner to ensure accurate bookings and profitable appointments.
- Schedule air testing weekly for staff, ensuring their diaries are fulfilled.
- Assist the resource team with specific tasks when required
Strategic Growth & Relationship Building:
- Work with the Business Manager to enhance relationships with existing accounts
- Develop new relationships through face-to-face meetings, networking events, and marketing.
- Support in positioning AEC as leader in this market
- Gather market and competitor information and share insights during monthly meetings with the Marketing Team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in inbound sales or telesales.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and data manipulation.
- Ability to proactively develop sales and identify opportunities for growth.
- Strong multitasking abilities and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and able to contribute to the development of the business.
- Willingness to be part of change and continuously improve.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
