You will be responsible for the efficient delivery of all major projects – setting up mobilisation meetings, liaising with clients on the programme, planning the jobs, and allocation of site surveyors and project managers to ensure smooth completion of the project. Once completed, you will close down the project ensuring all report delivery & billing are completed correctly.

This role will suit a well organised, confident and determined individual. You will be making quick decisions and working with a great team.

  • Use of Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and databases, and our bespoke system to resource projects.
  • Planning of staff for assigned projects and ensuring the efficient delivery to the customer.
  • Ensuring site staff are 95% utilised and achieving their minimum daily financial return.
  • Remaining commercially focused.
  • Create and maintain excellent relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, and communicate regularly on client expectations and protocols.
  • Taking ownership of any issues, providing effective solutions and preventative measures to ensure they do not occur again, updating processes / protocols and communicating these effectively.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to each client via excellent communication and regular updates. Discuss any potential risks and resolve them before they become an issue whilst also discussing the positives and how we continue to deliver to a high standard. Build strong relationships with all relevant key stakeholders.
  • Liaising with customers to book relevant work. Build rapport by phone and face to face.
  • Ensure that all projects are booked to the correct chargeable time / performance indicators and are reviewed on a weekly basis.
  • Work as a team to assist your colleagues in the resourcing of projects to ensure we meet our project deadlines.
  • Attend daily resource meetings with other members of the resource team to discuss the forthcoming days and discuss issues/provide solutions.
  • Contribute to meetings and update management on resource situation on a forward planning basis.
  • Manage communications via E-mail in Microsoft Outlook / telephone / face to face.
  • Complete daily business reports and review and report performance to the board of Directors.
  • Provide cover for the out of hours emergency support – on a rota basis.
 Skill Set
  • Strong communication skills, especially the ability to build rapport with clients on the phone
  • Must be proficient with MS Excel
  • Great organisation skills – you must be able to manage your own workload and multitask.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbally.
  • Commercially minded.
  • A methodical worker with strong attention to detail.
  • Sound geographical knowledge.
