Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Lead mobilisation meetings, maintain regular communication with clients, and ensure the smooth delivery of projects from start to finish.
  • Project Co-ordination: Plan and schedule jobs using our bespoke systems (Alpha Tracker and client-specific asset systems), ensuring all projects are efficiently resourced and delivered on time.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with site teams, project managers, and other departments to ensure seamless project delivery, addressing any operational issues proactively.
  • Resource Utilisation: Ensure site staff are fully utilised with a target of 95% utilisation, flagging any under-utilisation and proposing solutions.
  • Commercial Oversight: Conduct commercial reviews of projects with project managers, ensuring projects are cost-effective and commercially viable.
  • Process Improvement: Take ownership of issues, develop effective solutions, and update processes to prevent recurrence, in collaboration with the Resource Manager.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and databases, ensuring all systems are up to date and information is readily available for reporting and analysis.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing outstanding customer service through regular updates and issue resolution.
  • Meetings & Communication: Attend daily resource meetings, contribute to forward planning, and manage communications via email, telephone, and face-to-face interactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in resource planning, project co-ordination, or a similar role within an environmental consultancy or related field.
  • Previous experience within Water Maintenance works, Plumbing, Site experience is beneficial.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in liaising with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify and challenge potential issues to ensure project efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using project management systems like Alpha Tracker being advantageous.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
