Having been involved in the previous asbestos re-inspection of the site, we were delighted to be able to now work solely with the Bolton iFM team and carry out a full asbestos re-inspection of the site.  Through our involvement with the compliance team, we were also able to provide an additional service to the hospital, in the form of our bespoke Compliance Portal – ensuring both the compliance teams and any auditors would have full and easy access to the full asbestos reinspection data and the consultancy advice provided .

In preparation for the survey, and throughout, the hospital’s dedicated AEC Project Manager, Scott, worked closely with their management team, ensuring full compliance and transparency throughout the asbestos re-inspection.

With the nature of the working environment within the hospital, flexible working from our surveyors was key. Our Resource team worked extremely closely with the client to ensure the asbestos reinspection could be carried out with minimal disruption to staff and patients.

The AEC Compliance Portal now utilised by the hospital gives instant insight into the scope of  works carried out and the findings. The portal provides clear and accurate data from samples taken on site, to laboratory findings and consultant recommendations.  Simply put, we were able to make a large task as simple and straightforward as possible for the client, giving them the peace of mind that their compliance requirements were being carefully and accurately managed.

Providing the additional support our client needed has been crucial in enabling them to manage their asbestos compliance both currently and in the future. Through providing additional training via AEC’s Training Division, alongside working with their asbestos removal contractors, Bolton iFM have the confidence and capability to ensure all asbestos management is carried out both effectively and safely.
