Meet the Trainer

Elaine (MWMSoc)
Trainer
Elaine is Water Services Manager at AEC, with over 20 years’ experience planning and delivering Legionella Risk Assessments, monitoring and sampling. She has specified Legionella risk assessments and appropriate control measures for local authority, hospitals, commercial and large industrial sites throughout the UK and has knowledge of large domestic hot and cold-water systems and industrial process systems. Elaine teaches the full suite of Legionella courses.
Matt
Trainer
Matt is an experienced trainer and senior consultant based in Manchester. He is qualified to Masters Degree level in Conservation Biology and also a qualified Teacher of Science, with more than a decade’s experience in the classroom. Having started his career in asbestos in 2004 Matt is able to combine practical, real world experience with theoretical knowledge to give delegates a rounded learning experience. Matt teaches: Asbestos Awareness, Non-Licenced Asbestos Removal, P400 Asbestos Foundation Module, P402 Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings, P403 Air Sampling and Fibre Counting (PCM), P404 Clearance Testing and the Requirements for the Certificate of Reoccupation and P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings (including Asbestos Removal).

Csilla
Trainer
Based at our Essex laboratory, Csilla teaches the P401 Bulk Analysis and Asbestos Awareness courses. Armed with master’s degrees in biology and Ecology, Csilla's professional journey has been dedicated to asbestos labs. This unique combination of roles allows her to provide delegates with a robust blend of theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. Csilla enjoys the diversity of people she meets in her role and has welcomed trainees from various parts of the world including Greece, Lithuania, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Sweden and Belgium.
