In October 2018, AEC purchased Fernwood House and the site and freehold. The former transport office building was in need of refurbishment and building work on the new premises have now commenced. The building gives AEC the opportunity to purpose-build the new long term home for their London team as the business embarks on the next stage of growth.
The new office is set to accelerate the continuing success of the London team and the significantly larger facilities will ensure that the business can accommodate the growing demand of customers. The new building offers the business a potential four-fold growth capacity over the next five years which will support the company’s South East expansion plan.
AEC’s business in the South East of the UK has grown on average year on year by 25% through the development of strong client relationships and an excellent reputation in the marketplace. The addition of new NHS and rail contracts to the business over the past 3 months, further strengthens our southern order book, reputation and demonstrates AEC’s ability to support fast moving and responsive projects.
