Overview:
Based in our Trafford Park office, and working closely with our HR Manager, you will be responsible for recruitment in AEC Manchester and Essex. This is a 360 degree position, which includes candidate attraction, recruitment and retention.
AEC offers services across Asbestos, Legionella, Water Hygiene, Occupational Hygiene, Health & Safety, Fire Safety and Training – with this in mind, you will be sourcing candidates with specific qualifications and experience. You will also recruit for all office/support based positions.
This position will suit a professional who has experience managing the complete recruitment process, working internally with various stakeholders, using non-traditional talent attraction methods and coaching hiring managers on best practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing and screening to face to face interviewing and on-boarding
- Ensure job adverts are written creatively, accurately and placed on relevant platforms
- Actively source candidates for current and pipeline vacancies through traditional and non-traditional methods
- Arrange interviews, book interview rooms and provide feedback to candidates
- Conduct Exit Interviews and deliver findings to HR Manager and Director
- Provide recruitment reports as requested
- Review all recruitment documentation to ensure compliance
- Ensure the ATS is kept up to date at all times (Jobadder)
- Maintain the company LinkedIn, Instagram and also the careers section of the website
- Travel to Essex to support recruitment in this area
- Undertake all pre-employment checks, and obtain references
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and build relationships with preferred suppliers
- Establish long-term relationships with key business stakeholders
- On-going development of relationships with Universities, Colleges, and other education establishments
- Attendance at recruitment fairs, and the organisation of recruitment open days
- Support, advise and influence hiring managers with recruitment related activities
Skill Set:
- Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of three years’ internal recruitment experience
- Strong track record of direct sourcing
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with evidence of effective planning, monitoring and analysis of recruitment campaigns
- Ability to work autonomously
- Proven experience in engaging with and building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike
- Ability to prioritise workload and focus on multiple positions at any given time
- Full lifecycle recruitment experience
- Able to work with confidential and sensitive information
- Can demonstrate tenacity, perseverance and great decision making skills
- Full UK driving licence
